The AirCrete
Micro Cabin
"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately..."
— Henry Thoreau, the original micro-builder
Autonomy in
Systems
This cabin is designed for total self-reliance. We integrate solar, wind, and thermal storage into a cohesive off-grid brain.
Solar Array
Integrated metal roof panels for maximum catchment.
Wind Turbine
Small-scale turbine for consistent mountain airflow.
Sand Battery
Long-term thermal storage for off-grid heating.
Catchment
Rainwater harvesting from the metal roof system.

The 120 SQ FT Footprint
Based on the dimensions of Thoreau's Walden retreat, we build using a 4x4 timber frame combined with AirCrete blocks for superior insulation and modular speed.
4x4 Framing
Load-bearing timber frame for structural rigidity.
Glass Blocks
Natural light diffusion while maintaining R-value.
Flat Roof
Minimalist design, ready for high-efficiency solar and catchment.
Security Door
Custom metal door for safety in remote locations.

Materials Matter
Surface Engineering
Living
Surfaces
We finish the cabin using high-performance, natural substrates. Biochar-enhanced plasters scrub the air while microcement provides a durable, seamless aesthetic.
Latex Cement Canvas
A radical, flexible roofing membrane that is fireproof and UV resistant.
Microcement Coating
Seamless floors and interior walls that are waterproof and modern.
Biochar Plaster
Exterior coating that sequestures carbon and provides mold resistance.
Intensive
Participation
This is a hands-on build. You will be part of a small team (8 total) working directly on a residential-scale desert structure.
Includes: On-site camping, all organic meals, materials, and a digital cabin blueprint set.
Secure Your
Frame
Cabin builds require physical stamina and a commitment to 12-hour instructional days. We review all applicants for collective synergy.
